For each category, participation diplomas, diplomas of merit, third prizes, second prizes and first prizes will be awarded, according to the mathematical score achieved. Ex aequo prizes may be awarded. The absolute winner of the category, who will receive a scholarship, will be the one who has achieved the highest score, without prejudice to the achievement of an adequate artistic level (they will not be assigned ex aequo for the absolute first prize).

The following special prizes will also be awarded:
- Scholarship of € 1,000, offered by “Comune di Minerbio” to the Absolute winner of the Competition who will be chosen, during the winners' concert, among the absolute winners of the category.
- Romantic Special Prize € 500, offered by "Comune di Malalbergo" (best performance of a romantic piece);
- Liszt Prize € 500, offered by the Liszt Institute Foundation of Bologna and a concert (best performance of a piece by Liszt);
- Classic Special Prize € 500, offered by "Comune di Baricella, (best performance of a piece from the classical period);
- Participation in a summer course (Summer Festival) at the Imola Piano Academy "Incontri con il Maestro”;
- EMCYdiploma and special Prize: the further promotion of EMCY by an award winner profile and concerts, tours or other opportunities in Europe.
- Special teaching prize: to the teacher with the highest number of awarded students;
- recording contract with 2R Digital Classics label of 2R Studio Multimedia Productions;
- Other special prizes to be defined.
The overall winner of the competition and competitors who have particularly distinguished themselves will be awarded prize concerts offered by:
- 1 concert from the LISZT BOLOGNA INSTITUTE FOUNDATION,
- 1 concerts from SAN GIACOMO FESTIVA Bologna,
- 1 concert from ACCADEMIA DISTRETTO DELLA MUSICA ADDM Scuole di Musica
- 1 concerto from CASA BAREZZI Busseto,
